ML vs DL and Types of Algorithm

Soft Skill: Leadership: Discussed with fellow mates on the importance of adaptive learning in the organization and how leadership make this effective and impactful in the organization

Core Skill: On Machine learning Vs Deep Learning- Learnt different types of machine learning focusing Supervised, Unsupervised and Reinforcement learning

- Learnt unique feature and respective tuning technique in both Machine and Deep learning

-Clear understanding on which algorithm to be used based on the use cases.

- Created a report based on the understanding Identified the real world example as Black Friday sales of a retail store using Linear Regression for ML and face ID recognition in the devices like mobile and laptop using Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) in DL with their suitable algorithms and explanation of the usage

Reflection:

- This workshop was very interesting in learning to progress through the leadership roles and core skill learning on ML and DL comparative studies and its algorithms and report creation helped in exposure towards the real time world applications

Values:

-Comprehensive ML vs DL Understanding the distinctions between Machine Learning and Deep Learning, including types of ML (Supervised, Unsupervised, Reinforcement).

-Algorithm Selection Skills – Developed the ability to choose suitable algorithms based on specific use cases and learned unique features and tuning techniques for both ML and DL models.

-Practical Application Mapping : Mapped real-world examples to appropriate algorithms (e.g., Linear Regression for Black Friday sales prediction, CNN for Face ID recognition).

-Analytical Reporting Experience :Created a structured report combining theoretical understanding with practical examples and algorithm explanations.
-Real-Time Application Awareness – Strengthened awareness of how AI models are implemented in real-world scenarios.
